Design Process
We worked through 3 design phases: Concept Design, Schematic Design and finally Design Development. Each with an increased level of detail.
Concept Design
The concept design phase, took the clients loose visions and reworked them to tell a more consistent narrative and increase feasibility for fabrication within their budget. This phase was defined by spatial planning, floorplan mapping, concept sketches and an introduction into color and materials.
My contributions to the design phase included: Aiding senior designers in interpreting and refining clients vision, refining concepts and narrative, producing sketches, and writing descriptive copy of the concepts.
